The combination of a tuxedo sofa, carved side tables with marble tops, lattice patterned fabric on the upholstered ottoman, and an elaborate gilded frame on the oversized oil painting give this room a traditional feel. These elements are balanced, however, by the clean lines of the slipper chair, the fun touches of leopard on the throw and bench, and the sisal floor covering. The result is an interesting mix of style and color that is inviting, livable and decidedly "today".
