This modern dining room was created for the Washington Design Center Showhouse and was featured in The Washington Post, Washington Home & Design magazine, Design Times magazine, and Metropolitan Home magazine, among others. The futuristic feel of the stainless steel furnishings are balanced by the presence of the antique Chinese armoire, and the warmth of the red Vietnamese bamboo vases. The metallic paint and fabrics are consistent with the cool reflective surfaces, while the Tibetan wool rug anchors and warms the room nicely.
